Hi there! I’m Alyssa, the design visionary behind Alyssa Winfield Designs. As a designer, gardener, artist, wife, baker, yogi, and most importantly, ‘Mom’, Alyssa Winfield Designs was created out of the need to find balance between these roles. My goal as a designer is to create a home and outdoor living space where my clients can find that harmony as well.
Our landscape design team is committed to create outdoor spaces that reflect each clients’ individual style and personality. For this to happen, we build relationships with our clients and enjoy the collaboration process to create designs that are unique to each individual family lifestyle. Our designers create a master plan and can work with you throughout the installation process in hopes that from concept to completion the journey is as enjoyable as the final outdoor living destination.

OUR PROCESS

STEP 1: INITIAL CONSULTATION
The initial consultation is your opportunity to get to know us, and our opportunity to get to know your property. We will review your goals for your landscape design, discuss how you currently use your outdoor living space, and brainstorm creative ideas together throughout the garden.
STEP 2: DESIGN PROPOSAL & CONTRACT
Following the initial consultation you will be sent a design proposal & contract. Each design contract is unique to the individual property and is based on your needs for the project. This can vary based on elements included in the design, size of the property, and the level of detail requested in the plans.
STEP 3: SITE ANALYSIS
Once we have a signed contract and payment is received we will schedule our initial site analysis. This typically happens 1-2weeks following the contract signature. During this time, we will create a base plan that we can use for the design throughout the project. This is also an opportunity for us to dream and sketch out some ideas while we explore your garden!
Step 4: DESIGN CREATION
This is where the magic happens! Our design team will take your ideas & dreams and blend them with their own individual creativity to bring your vision to life. We create at least two design concepts in this initial phase so that our clients have options for the direction of their landscape.
Step 5: CONCEPTUAL PLAN PRESENTATION
The initial concept presentation typically happens 2-4 weeks following our Initial Consultation. During this meeting we will review our hand drawn concepts as well as mood boards for your custom landscape design. Based on our discussions during the meeting we will provide you with all documents reviewed in the meeting as well as "things to review" so that we can get the feedback we need to continue with the design revision process.
Step 6: DESIGN DEVELOPMENT & REVISIONS
This is also the "collaboration phase" and is how we bring custom touches of your personality and lifestyle to each individual garden design. Depending on how quickly we receive feedback determines how quickly we can move on to the revisions phase of the process. There are typically 1-2 additional rounds of revisions included in each contract which varies based on the complexity of the project and how clearly we understand your goals for the property.
We can typically take your garden dreams and turn them into a master landscape plan in 4-8 weeks.
Step 7: PHOTOREALISTIC 3D RENDERING
3D Renderings are an optional addition to any of our landscape contracts. These allow us to dive deeper into material selections and furniture layouts and really help you feel the ambiance of the space we have created in 2D. This is also a great resource for us to use when modifying the exterior of the home with decks, windows, pavilions, pergolas, paint colors, or other construction elements so that we can truly see what the property will look like at the end of the installation.
Step 8: PROJECT MANAGEMENT
When the design is complete, some clients aren't ready to say 'Goodbye'. We offer consultation and project management services throughout your project to ensure our design comes to life in the way you envisioned it from the beginning! This can range from accompanying you to contractor meetings to provide professional guidance, all the way to managing the project entirely to allow you to sit back, hands free, and enjoy the process!
